This is my take on London's tremendous richness of sound-exploring activity. I am very grateful for being able to witness cutting edge performances on a regular basis in this city.

The sheer number of people exploring the depths of sound, searching for the unheard, performing radical departures from previous notions of what sound art is, is nothing short of inspiring.

And, just as importantly, there's a huge, attentive audience. That's where the real richness of London's culture shows - the fact that so many people make the extra effort of going out, travelling long distances, to listen with utmost attention, openness and respect to what today's sound makers create.

This is for places and events (without which none of those performances would be possible) such as Sonic Imperfections, Lume, Café Oto, Tuesdays Post, Servant Jazz Quarters, Lumière, Desolate, Vortex and countless others who put on daring music night after night.
